Epic Space Chores is the dream of two nerds who want to bring a little happiness to anyone they can. It all started as a late night conversation: “What if some people doing really mundane work in space suddenly had to take care of an alien? What adorable episodic shenanigans could they get up to? And what if it was a podcast? After all, is there any better married couple out there to make a narrative podcast? We are a writer/producer and an actor/sound designer after all!” And two years later, here we are!
Maggie Gardner
The writer and director of the show, Maggie is a PNW native who loves writing, photography, logistics, and gardening. Every now and then she emerges from the moss to produce short films, and now, podcasts in the Portland area. Always a sucker for a group of misfits going on an adventure, Epic Space Chores is everything she’s ever wanted to produce.
Jesse Gardner
Sound designer, musician, and actor extraordinaire, Jesse Gardner is the voice of the Narrator as well as the composer and sound designer. In his free time Jesse loves painting miniatures, baking, and spending time with his wife.
